Mindful Mitra (MM) is a non-profit organisation based in Australia, led by a young energetic team of Nepali descent aspiring to empower the Nepali community by providing a safe space to learn and grow together. Through a variety of workshops and capacity building programs, we provide access to tools and services for self-development and enhance well-being in all aspects of life.

Since our initiation in 2021, we have conducted more than 18 workshops on topics including Mindfulness, Money Management, Mental Health, Women's Health, Habit Building, and more, along with free weekly yoga sessions.

Our Objectives

  • To help Nepalese acquire the knowledge, skills and tools required to live a more meaningful life.
  • To create a safe space where people feel connected and comfortable to be vulnerable, work on their well-being & access the support system they need
  • To instill a growth mindset in the Nepali community and provoke crucial conversations & spread awareness about social and cultural issues.
